the machine that could change everything.

I think most of us would know about the World War 2 which involves almost all the countries in the world. From our secondary education, we learned that Hitler was out flanked and out played by the Allied forces and committed suicide. This led to the end of the war as we know. We also knew the Allied captured Germany and divided it into West Germany, the capitalist block and East Germany, the communist block. Then came unification and became the Germany we know.

What our textbooks was unable to tell us is what happened during the capture. You see, during the war, the German's have already had experimented with technologies far beyond the capabilities of the Allied forces. When the allied forces captured the cities of Germany, they found so much German tech that they've never seen before. One of the most prominent tech which would definitely change the outcome of the war would be the nuclear tech the Germans are already toying with. Imagine the war extended by another year or two, the Germans would definitely have working nuclear bombs at their disposal.

Besides the nuke tech, they've also aviation tech which is extremely incredible at that time. At that time, the nazi already have stealth tech on their side. This all thanks to the work of the Horten brothers who designed the Horten 229. The 229 considered to be extremely advance at that time. Its able to achieve the max speed of 1000km/h yet it is very maneuverable. It uses two turbojet engines which enables it to fly soo much faster than any other planes at that time. If it were to be deployed in larger numbers, its speed and stealth would dominate the skies. This would have allowed the nazi to take control of the skies and attack the UK.

When the US was attacking Germany, Hitler wanted to the the battle to them. He wanted a intercontinental bomber which would be able to attack the cities of the US. The Horten brothers came up with the Horten 18 which is based on the 229. The 18 is an enlarged 229 with 6 turbojet engines powering it. Theoretically, it would be able to deliver the nuke payloads to the US with ease. Imagine a situation where the Nazi's managed to build this and deploy it. It would definitely affect the spirits of those fighting the war in Europe. I think if only the war was extended by 1 or 2 years, we would be speaking in German, Japanese or Italian. hahahaha okay... back to studying..

Haha, interesting... ^^

I also knew from a documentary that those smart German scientists were bought over to US and Russia after WWII. These scientists could be assisting both sides in the space war around 1950-1970. The Russian side started with Sputnik, then US broke even with Apollo 11.

btw, same kind of feeling during study week man... exam is like tmr but can't concentrate... >_<

glad it's over ^^
